NHS Talking Therapies
Funded by Vita Health Group, this 5-year project launched in April 2021 and focuses on delivering NHS Talking Therapies across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland (LLR). These services provide psychological therapies for depression and anxiety and support adults aged 16+ in accessing community support and well-being resources.
Statistics show that Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities are often under-represented in healthcare services. We work alongside Vita Health Group to improve access, raise awareness, and support referrals for those in need of mental health services.
Our Project Aims To:
Raise Awareness of NHS Talking Therapies
Build Trust and Reduce Stigma
Improve Access for BAME Communities
Facilitate Community Support and Conversations
