Celebrating 50 years of Equality Action

We started as ‘The Garden’, Charnwood Community Relations Council on Churchgate in 1969.   Now we are Equality Action on the Nottingham Road, still promoting equality and diversity, dignity and respect, through inclusion.

We will produce a book to tell our story.  Please contribute your memories, pictures, stories and anecdotes so that our history shows what we have all done to help the organisation to grow and thrive, and how we have used the services.

Please note that we need written permission to use any material you contribute, particularly when people are named or pictured.

A small group is co-ordinating the production and design and they need your help and contributions. 

Please send or bring us your pictures and stories, press cuttings and photos by end of January 2019.
